  Hi, welcome to my website.My girlfriend Lauren is running it and managing the administrative side of things. You can always contact her as an alternative and she'll get any message to me. Hopefully though I’ll be able to answer some questions. In this section I’ll explain a bit about National Super rods and who we are plus let you know a bit about me.
First of all I’ll start with me. I’m 29 and have been racing super rods for about two years. Although I have raced in other formulas. I live in York, my day job is a joiner and plaster but cars and especially racing are my main passion. My new current racecar is a Space frame mondeo and my other previous car is a Sierra Cosworth, which I have now sold. The person which I have sold it to hopes to be out racing either later this year or next year. If you want to know a bit more look at the News and Results page or the My Car page. I had my Sierra for the last two seasons but now I am racing my Mondeo. Recently I tried out for the rookie tests, to become an SCSA V8 driver but unfortunately missed out by seconds. I will hopefully be giving it another go though. You can see some pictures on my V8 Trophy Racing picture page. National super rods are an independent formula which started in the early seventies at Hednesford Hills under the name modern stock cars. In the early days there were some good drivers in the formula but in the early 90’s the formula was in decline and in 1993 incarace decided to drop the formula. In 1994 though the national super rods were back racing at hednesford hills as an Independent formula thanks to Dave Erroll and a management team. This time the super rods were making their own race dates and having their own rules. The national super rods pride themselves on being a non-contact sport.
